LA Unified’s goal for all students and staff is to maintain an “Excellent” attendance rate of 96% or higher through the school year. This means no more than 1 absence per 25 days or no more than a total of 7 absences during the school year. As an incentive, classes with the highest attendance rate will be recognized at our monthly assembly and students & staff with perfect attendance will be recognized at the mid-year and end-of-year awards assemblies.
